Start up and Temperature Setting

Your thermostat is preset for accuracy at the factory. We recommend that you set your temperature at 78" for cooling and 68" for heating when you first startup your system between seasons. Keep in mind that it may take between 18-36 hours to reach the desired temperature setting. Lowering or raising the setting will not shorten this cycle. Once your temperature has stabilized at at 78" or 68", raise or lower your temperature one degree at a time until comfortable. This will maximize your energy savings and improve your level of comfort.
